Hello Global Village, would you like to become a Founding Community Patron of Ubuntu! Decolonial Arts Centre and stay at the retreat cottage for week-long FREE vacation in 2023?

My name is d’bi.young anitafrika and I am a Jamaican-Tkarontonian decolonial artist and educator. For the past 20 years I have written poetry, created plays, and innovated numerous mentorship programs globally to support the growth and development of artists using the Anitafrika Method, a decolonial framework that provides tools to interrogate & rupture systemic oppressions in society and within oneself.

My most recent initiative is establishing Ubuntu Decolonial Arts Centre, a gathering place where practitioners from around the world come to decolonise personhood, practice & pedagogy, located in Puerto Viejo Costa Rica. The location is beautiful and serene.

We are offering Free week-long retreats to the centre (accommodation & food included) to anyone interested in coming on board with us as a Founding Community Patron of Ubuntu Decolonial Arts Centre. These week-long Retreats will be redeemable anytime during 2023.
